MICHELLE 'SHELLIBRANT' BAILEY

celebrant canberra

My name is Michelle Bailey but please call me 'Shelli' and I am a 41 year old authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant residing in Brisbane for the 2024 calendar year. I am available and am willing to travel to service all states of Australia.

I was a Medical Research Scientist for 14 years and now work at the Department of Agriculture by day, I am Superhero by night and have found Love in becoming the 'Shellibrant'.

By the very first Bride & Groom I had the honour to marry, I was affectionately dubbed the 'Shellibrant' which has not only stuck but I am absolutely touched by!

Your ceremony is an important and personal event in your lives and my aim is to make sure that you have the ceremony you want. It excites me being a wedding celebrant; it brings joy, happiness and satisfaction to my life. Emotions that are shared too by the couples leading up to and on their special day.

I take pride and delight in developing unique wedding occasions; whether you are looking for something traditional, formal or informal, sophisticated or simple, I will work with you to design personalised ceremonies for Weddings, Renewal Of Vows, Commitment and Naming Ceremonies.

Please get in touch with any questions you might have - I'm happy to call, email, skype or better yet let's arrange an obligation-free meeting to discuss the ceremony you are planning!

"I Will..." work with you to personalise the ceremony. The benefit in choosing a celebrant means your ceremony can be whatever you want it to be and I work with you to personalise this to your needs and wants.

With regard to the formalities, a Notice Of Intended Marriage (NOIM), needs to be lodged with me at least 1 month prior to the wedding day.

At the end of your ceremony you will receive the Presentation Certificate and a bound copy of your ceremony as a gift and keepsake.

In regards to other ceremony styles, I do perform Registry Style or Legals Only Weddings and Elopements.
